As indeed I am myself, women at this stage of their life are becoming more aware of the huge benefits being physically active, in particular, strength training has on their health and wellbeing.
Initial fluctuations, then ultimately decreased oestrogen levels will be present for at least an additional 1/3 to 1/2 of a woman's life, so we have to look after our future body.
Often occurring at a time when women have very busy lives, maybe teenage children going through puberty, family demands and career importance, so to have to deal with a rollercoaster of hormonal changes is somewhat challenging!
Positively society is recognising this stage in a woman's life and the evidence supporting exercise at this time of life is plentiful.
Exercise alone has its own benefits and can also compliment HRT, just see below.
I will be there for you in this difficult time of your life, to support and empathise with you, alongside providing Physical Activity training plans to empower you!
